Tim Omark & Southern Justice has been together since May of 2005. Each musician brings something original and different into the mix. The lead singer Tim Omark has been singing country music his entire life. The drummer Gary Hamilton has played drums for several years in more of a rock style. The bass player Don Peirce has played for the majority of his life even touring the country playing rock and his very own original music. Matt Staten who plays lead guitar, has been playing rock and blues for twenty plus years. All of these different styles of music put together form the sound that fans have come to love. Labeled as a mix between country and southern rock, their goal is to give the best show possible and make sure it is fun for the whole family.
Tim Omark & Southern Justice offers a high energy show that is certain to shake the doors and rattle the windows. Their love of music is sure to leave you breathless and begging for more. The band’s message is clear “Come and take the Southern Justice Ride”
The band has been playing all over the central Ohio area and is excited to branch out and broaden their horizons. They have played many different types of venues such as county fairs, charity events, weddings, the local bar scene, and the larger dance clubs. Some of the places they have played are: Whiskey Dick’s and the Sundance Saloon in Columbus, Ohio, The crown Lounge in Powell, Ohio, Lucky’s Bar and Grill in Hilliard, Ohio, The London Crown in London, Ohio and many more. They have played the Champaign county fair, the Madison county fair and have already been booked again for the Madison county fair for up coming shows. They have opened for Nashville recording artists such as: Steve Holy, Craig Morgan, LoCash Cowboys and are set to open for many more Nashville artists in the near future. They are very active in local and national charities. In 2005 they hosted “Country for the Cajun” an event to raise money for the victims of hurricane Katrina. They also hosted an event called Rock’n 4 Reagyn a benefit to raise money for a six year old girl who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. It was this event that inspired their first single “Reagyn’s Song” which was released in November of 2006.
Tim Omark & Southern Justice strive to make every show the best they possibly can. They are only satisfied when everyone is having the time of their life. This band brings an atmosphere that is unmatched by anyone else. They are certain to make any venue memorable and to make anyone there glad they came. The fans are the reason why they do this.
